Accessibility

At Perth Playhouse, we are committed to offering maximum accessibility and we strive to provide facilities that meet the requirements of all our customers.

There are 3 parking bays for use when customers have a valid blue badge. Access to the cinema foyer is via a ramp at the side of the building next to the 3 parking bays.

The Perth Playhouse has wheelchair access for screens 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7.

Wheelchair spaces are located at the rear of the auditorium for screens 3 & 4, and at the front for screen 5, 6 & 7. To find out which screen films are showing in or to speak to a member of management about any access issues please phone us on (01738) 448 729 or send us an enquiry.

All of our accessible screenings are open to everyone; we strive to provide a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere.

HEARING IMPAIRED GUESTS

Subtitles for the hearing impaired are available at certain performances. Closed captions are displayed at the bottom of the screen to help viewers who are deaf or hard of hearing to enjoy the film fully.

Please check our listings for information about upcoming Subtitled Cinema screenings.

SIGHT IMPAIRED GUESTS

Guide dogs are welcome at all times at the Perth Playhouse.

RELAXED SCREENINGS

Relaxed screenings are regular shows aimed at families with children on the autism spectrum or with other special communication needs. These screenings are adapted in a variety of ways to help reduce anxiety and ensure a safe, enjoyable cinema experience. During the film, lights are left on low and the volume is reduced to ease the impact for those with any sensory difficulties, and it is fine for the audience to move around, make a noise or take a break from the screening if needed. We strive to provide a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere.

Please check our listings for information about upcoming Relaxed screenings.
